It has been crazy hot here for the past week. I am seeing a ton of heat injuries at work. Everything from dehydrated roofers to heat stroke road construction crew. Their supervisors don't give them breaks for drinks as this cuts down on productive time, but really! In this heat that is deadly. Then again all roofers, at least the ones I see, are drunk. Let me give you all a hint, alcohol and roofing will land you in the trauma bay, and if you are dehydrated to start with, we wont be able to get your blood pressure up so you will be going to the OR as well.
Our family has been spending a lot of time at the swimming pool to help stay cool. Isaac is starting to pick up the swimming thing. Nick still wanders out to the deep end when you aren't watching and tries to drown himself. Hopefully we will be able to take Isaac snorkeling soon. Nick will have to stay and build sand castles on the beach for a few more years.
Tom is in Kuwait again this week. My computer is still in insurance hoc. I am hoping all goes smoothly on the home front this time around.

Good luck with the single parenting this week. It sounds like things get exciting when Tom leaves.
Miss you guys. My kids are planning Miriya's future after high school and it involves her coming to live with us!
