Yesterday was Miriya's swimming awards banquet. For some reason she did not want to go. OK, I guess her family is too embarrassing with 2 noisy babies at an otherwise quiet awards ceremony. (Evidently, no other swimmers have little brothers or sisters.) Too bad, we are all so proud of her and wanted to see her get her second varsity letter so we made her go anyway along with the support of ALL of her family. Not only did she get the varsity letter, but she also was a scholar athlete as well. This means that she was able to get good grades while she was on the swim team. She was so cute getting her award and at the end she grudgingly admitted that the babies weren't too loud or embarrassing. The boys think Miriya is so neat. I am glad that they were able to see her get her awards. You go girl!
