Happy birthday to my big 1 year old! I can't believe that it has already been one year that he has been in our family. To celebrate we had mac and cheese for dinner and then he got to eat his birthday cake and open up presents. For their kid's birthdays, my sisters interview their kids and then post the results on the blog. I think that is a super idea, and even though Nick doesn't talk yet you better believe he has some strong opinions!
Favorite Food: Breast milk, but he is almost completely weaned. We are still working on the cup. He will use it for meals but still likes his bottle at night. Other than that, he really likes vegetables and meat. Don't try fruit, he will either knock it out of your hand before you get it to his mouth or else gag trying to swallow it.
Favorite thing to do: Crawl all over following Isaac. He also loves to find trash cans and then empty them out all over the floor. He also likes his bath, but not a shower. Don't even get him near that spraying water.
Favorite book: Anything short and sweet, Pat the Bunny or Fuzzy Yellow Ducklings. This kid has things to do.
Two things he could never be without: His Mommy and his pacifier
Favorite game: Crawl around the kitchen island trying to catch mom until mom catches up from behind.
Favorite toy: Anything Isaac is playing with. He especially likes to "help" build block towers and pick up lint.
Even though this little guy is high maintenance, I still can't imagine life without him. We love you Nick!
