We have had some snow days recently. What to do when it is too icy to go anywhere and the kids are bored out of their minds?
Hide and seek.
Play in Mom's make up. No, just kidding. After we found this, we decided to help the kids find better ways to occupy their time.
Family bowling. At our house we are lucky that the kitchen and the family room are connected. It makes for a nice long bowling run with some pins Isaac got for Easter last year.

Hide and seek.A parade, Isaac is always the leader. That will probably change when Nick gets older and wants a turn as well.
Family baseball in the living room. Not to worry about my breakables. We used a soft plastic ball and bat Isaac got for his birthday. Perfect for indoor snow days. Notice Isaac at bat, Dad the coach, Nick the catcher and Taylor pitcher. Mom is the sports journalist, Miriya outfield.
