Swim Lessons

Today we had the entire evening off, since Jen had to work we got to do whatever we wanted. What did we pick? Movie? nah. Games? nah. being completely bored? hmm... umm nah. So what did we do? Go swimming, of course.

We are very lucky to have a YMCA right next to our house. Miriya didn't want to go so we went on a little "wet and wild" father and sonS. Isaac had a life vest, I don't know why, so we hitched him up and left. Isaac wanted to start with the warm pool (not a hot tub just luke warm) but we said no, just wanting to get into the larger cooler one and finish off with it. So we hopped right in.

Nick probably had the most fun, no one trying to force him in (he went willingly) no one trying to let you float all by himself. And as an added bonus wherever he went he had someone to splash.

Isaac had less fun. People chucking him into "ice cold" water to see if the vest worked. and trying to get him to swim. He did swim when you helped him and you were going toward the stairs.

The warm pool was much different. Everybody got better at swimming. Nick was going under water and enjoying it. Isaac was swimming laps around the pool. Nick was holding onto the noodles. Isaac was holding onto the noodle and kicking every where.

On our way home it was down pouring we we ducked and dashed to the car. I think everybody had fun.
