Cuckoo Dance

While in Germany we got the most touristy of all tourist trinkets, a cuckoo clock. Tom hates it, but I love it because it cuckoos every 30 minutes then plays Eidelweiss while the water wheel turns and the man chops wood. I also love it because while the music is going, Nick dances. So, every 30 minutes Nick busts a move to the cuckoo song. On another note, a few posts ago I talked about how we redid the master bathroom. Well, it is officially, finally done. The faucets we were waiting for from Home Depot never came. After 6 weeks of waiting they told us it would be another 6 weeks. We said, never mind, refund our money. We bought them for cheaper at FaucetDirect.com and had them in 4 days. Should have done that in the beginning. Oh well, live and learn. We are now able to wash our hands and brush our teeth in our own bathroom. It is so nice to finally be completely done. Finally, for our last summer hurrah we went on a bike ride down our favorite trail to the frog place. We lifted up rocks and dug in the mud until we found some frogs and some crayfish. What a successful trip!
